Rate: £28,000 - £32,000 (Depending on experience)

We are expanding our-inhouse IT function hence the need to recruit several experienced IT Support Managers who would like to join our exciting company. As the IT Support Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of technical support services to our employees.

 

As we are on the verge of setting up our new IT team to commence our 3 to 4 years IT program to build its new recruitment platform, with new state of the art features, a new mobile app and the integration of Salesforce into its IT infrastructure landscape, your role will involve managing support requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing effective IT support strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills.

Overview of the role

  • Provide support and guidance to staff in the use of IT and provide feedback using specialist skills, training, experience and knowledge.

  • Be responsible for and manage the groups IT team, including training and appraisals.

  • Promote and nurture a sense of working within the team. Impart knowledge through in-house training.

  • Develop, implement and monitor practices for data protection, internet use, e-mail, security and IT resource management.

  • Develop hardware, software and the network solutions throughout group.

  • Oversee the installation, configuration and management of applications on company approved devices via our MS Intune platform.

  • Administration of O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure Ad including policy & configuration changes

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in managing and leading an IT support team, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding performance targets.

  • Extensive knowledge of IT support principles, best practices, and methodologies.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues across various platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and find creative solutions.
