Role: Domiciliary - Support Worker

Job Type: Full-Time

Rate: £10.50 - £11 /hr  (Depending on experience)

Job Location: Corby NN17

Applicant Type: Permanent

Hours: 17 Hrs -35 Hrs Per Week (Mon-Sun)

About the role:

We are looking for honest support workers to provide support to various service users around the Corby areas. The service users needs minimal support with basic hygiene, meal preparations as well as help getting ready to go to the hospital for dialysis 3 times a week. 

As the carer, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the service user in their own home. You will help them with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household chores, while also providing companionship and emotional support.

The ideal candidate Support Worker will:

- Help service users in getting meals prepared (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

- Help with getting out of bed and personal care, washing, dressing/undressing,

- Help service users in getting/ standing up from chairs

- Help service users in sitting back down in his seat

- Help service users in doing the laundry

- Help service users with light help with cleaning the home

- Help service users in getting up when he slips/ falls to the floor

- Help service users in getting ready to the hospital (3 times per week)

- Medication Administration

Job Requirements:

-You must have a minimum of 2-years experience as a support worker

- You must have a valid enhanced DBS certificate

- You must have manual handling certification/ experience

- You must have medication administering experience/ certification

- You must reside around the Corby vicinity.

- You must have health & safety experience/ certification.
